Junior/ Intermediate Data Scientist
Docktech is focused on creating a Digital Twin of Ports/Waterways, so the Data Scientist job requires dealing with a host of various sensors, incorporating geospatial and temporal features. As it is a small team, the Data Scientist will also be involved with Data Engineering, structuring the workflows, and creating production-level code.
Responsibilities

Research and understand the Maritime/Bathymetry world, and how Data Science can improve current systems.

Be in charge of one's own projects, helping determine evaluation metrics and running experiments.
Required Skills

At least one year experience working as a data scientist (preferably if was involved in pushing models to production.)

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, product-oriented group that has several concurrent projects.

Proficiency in python and the standard data science libraries (NumPy, pandas, sklearn, etc.)
Advantages

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or related discipline.

Knowledge of Serverless architecture and cloud computing (AWS).

Familiar with Maritime sensors (echo sounders, GPS, anemometer, etc.).
