FullStack Engineer
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a DOER, fast learner, and sharp Full Stack Engineer to create and lead the application development.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining web apps and mapping applications for visualizing and distributing geospatial data.
Developing the future of out-of-the-box OPEN SOURCE GIS products, based on various and complex big data sets.
Support a diverse array of technologies.
Responsibilities

Design and build high-end DockTech’s GIS Front end application.

Design and build high-end scalable backend platform.

Act as a bar raiser by setting high standards for developing and related processes.

Work with great software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts with the mission to deliver useful, insightful data to our clients.
Requirements

Team player, can-do attitude, enthusiastic, self-learning capabilities.

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.

In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.

3+ years experience with React and additional tools and libraries such as semantic ui and redux.

3+ years experience with js-based backend languages and frameworks.
-
Experience in different Database technologies, SQL, NoSql, Key-Value, etc.
Advantages

Experience with cloud services (AWS preferably).

Passion for the sea and the environment.

GIS development experience with tools such MapBox and deckgl - big advantage.
